As an antispasmodic, Hyssop essential oil alleviates respiratory spasms, effectively treating spasmodic coughs. It also addresses nervous system spasms to treat convulsions and associated issues, while reducing muscle spasms to alleviate cramps and intestinal spasms, providing relief from severe abdominal pain.
Hyssop oil, by improving blood circulation, assists in treating conditions related to poor circulation like rheumatism, arthritis, gout, and swelling.
This oil aids digestion. As a stimulant, it encourages the production of gastric juices such as acids, enzymes, and bile in the stomach, accelerating the breakdown of complex proteins, carbohydrates, and other nutrients.
