Cajeput Essential Oil is beneficial for treating ailments such as colds, headaches, and toothaches. It effectively combats infections caused by bacteria, viruses, and fungi, including conditions like tetanus, influenza, cholera, and typhoid.
Aside from its medicinal uses, Cajeput oil is also an effective insect repellent. Its potent insecticidal properties can be utilized by using a diluted solution as a spray or in a vaporizer to ward off pests such as mosquitoes and ants. Applying a diluted solution on the skin can also deter insects.
Similar to eucalyptus oil, Cajeput oil is a powerful decongestant and expectorant. It provides immediate relief for congestions in the nose, throat, and other respiratory areas, and is also effective against coughs, infections, and throat inflammations.
As an analgesic, Cajeput oil helps minimize pain. It can be applied locally on an infected tooth for toothaches or on the forehead for headaches. Use only in highly diluted solutions.
